Provide a firewater ring main that can deliver up to 50,000 litres per minute of seawater to COMAH establishments situated in the port.
Working around live infrastructure: above ground, in service, pipe tracks; laying pipe under the main port access roads, laying pipe under a live container terminal. Liaising with numerous stakeholders to ensure requirements from different parties are satisfied.
Project management including: financial control and reporting; scheduling of design, procurement; and construction activities and construction management. Develop feasibility proposals, and subsequent design from concept through to construction ensuring code compliance. Design responsibility for dismantling, civil, structural and mechanical engineering. This included arranging road closure with associated traffic management, pipework and equipment layouts, issuing deign drawings to contractors, interface with port operations and operators. Act as PSDP. Develop service specifications for the installation works and manage the construction. Issue permits for the works. Oversee commissioning.
