Remove live operational tanks from service, carry out NDT inspection of the tanks, assess the condition of the tanks in accordance with EEMUA 159 (API 653), repair the tank as necessary, and return the tank to service.
Working around a live plant where operations are continuing. Schedule critical as work to be complete when the process is out of service for a shutdown.
Sole point of contact for client. Prepare scopes of work for the different activities. Appoint and manage sub-contractors for: isolation, access, insulation & cladding removal and reinstatement, cleaning, NDT inspection, mechanical repair, paint & lining repair, reconnection and testing. Act as PSDP and PSCS looking after health and safety requirements including tank venting, environmental requirements for waste disposal, and liaising with confined space rescue team. Maintenance and handover of safety file. Arrange permits, including review and provision of the necessary RAMS and isolation schedules. Plan and co-ordinate works amongst contractors and with plant operations. Assess inspection results and determine repairs required to maintain code compliance. Carry out the necessary repairs and post repair testing, with a hydrostatic test where required. Follow GAMP requirements for all new materials when putting tanks back into service.
